New year has arrived. Many vendors looked happy with their sales result. Especially on the last Christmas and new year holiday season. But, most of them are in the sad faces. In Indonesia, Selular Magazine (here is the original article) has researched the market and found out the top 5 best selling smartphone on that period. Here they are:
- Samsung Galaxy V
- iPhone 4S 16GB
- Samsung Galaxy Ace 3
- Asus Zenfone 4S
As we can see on the list, only Apple's iPhone 4S that costs a lot, around IDR 4 million. The others, only IDR 1,6 million, and IDR 1,2 million for Samsung Galaxy V.
I think we can conclude that to be successful in terms of selling quantity, smartphone are supposed to be priced at 1,2 to 1,6 million IDR. Right? Unless your company name is Apple.
