VAIO to Release Smartphone on March 2015?

VAIO is a brand for notebook from Sony, right? Wrong! From July 1st, 2014, VAIO was no longer Sony's brand after Sony gave up producing notebook and the brand was bought by Japan Industrial Partners (JIP).

The latest news is, JIP is planning to participate in the smartphone business with the VAIO brand. It said that the Japanese player will announce their VAIO smartphone at March 12, 2015.

According to rumor, the Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 64-bit with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The 5 inch screen will have 720p resolution and dual camera at 13 and 5MP.
