ASUS has released their latest budget smartphone, the Zenfone C aka ZC451CG. But for Indonesia, ASUS prefers to call it the New Zenfone 4S.

For those of you who confused about the lineup, Zenfone C is not a refresh for Zenfone 4. Instead, it is a replacement of the previous Zenfone 4S A450CG. So, what is the difference between the older and the later?
Zenfone 4S and New Zenfone 4S have the same display size, which is 4,5 inch with the same resolution, 480x854 pixels. Both of them supports multitouch, but Asus put Oleophobic coating on the New Zenfone 4S, instead of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 like the old Zenfone 4S.

Currently, the old Zenfone 4S is already phased out and replaced by the New Zenfone 4S. With the lower price point, now we can get a bigger battery and additional noise cancellation feature. But, we lost 8MP camera and Gorilla Glass 3. Sigh.
