Same Processor, Meizu Pro 5 Faster than Galaxy S6 and Note 5

Meizu has just announce their latest flagship, the Meizu Pro 5. This 4G LTE Android Lollipop 5.1 device uses Samsung's Exynos 7 Octa 7420 64-bit processor that run at 2,1GHz.

The processor is the latest top performance CPU from Samsung and the exact processors are also used on Samsung's latest flagship. The Galaxy S6 and Note 5. But, in terms of performance, the Meizu Pro 5 performs faster than the two Samsung's top end devices. Why?

The reason is because Meizu Pro 5 uses Super Amoled display with Full HD 1080p resolution. While Samsung's highest end used Quad HD display, or 1440p resolution. FYI, the higher the display resolution, the more workload to be done by the CPU (and also GPU). This is why Meizu Pro 5, using the same CPU as Samsung devices can performs faster.

So? Do you really need QHD display? Can you really tell the difference between FHD and QHD on small screens? Actually I dont. I think I can see the difference if the device has 42 inch or more of screen size.
