Intel based smartphone and tablets have good performance, but most of them are sold on the cheaper price compared to other non Intel devices with lower performance. How come?
According to Ubergizmo, for every tablets, Intel provides USD 51 subsidy. So, manufacturers such as Lenovo, Asus, Acer, and others can sell their Intel based tablets at lower price compared to gadgets with Qualcomm or other chip.
But not for long. In 2015, Intel will remove their subsidies for tablets. Let's see by then, are they still provide the best bang for the bucks.
