Today Asus provides a new FOTA updates for their Zenfone lineups. What's new? Different from the previous FOTA updates, this one is the update that all of the users have been waiting for, the upgrade to Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS. It provides other update, see the attach image:
The update itself can be downloaded directly to Zenfone, and the download size, for Zenfone 5 is about 442.5MB. Quite a big size for mobile data subscriber. So, if you want to update, use WiFi connection, unless your mobile data plan is unlimited or has a big quota.
How to update via FOTA? Just tap on Settings, scroll to About, then System update. Tap Check update. Your device then will check for the update and download the KitKat.
